Winner of the Kanagawa Prefectural Governor’s Award (Grand Prize) at the “Kanagawa Business Audition 2026”

FerroptoCure Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Yuji Otsuki) was awarded the Kanagawa Prefectural Governor’s Award (Grand Prize)—the highest honor—at the “Kanagawa Business Audition 2026” held on February 6, 2026. The company also received the Japan Society of Professional Engineers Kanagawa Branch Award and the MINERVA Award.

The Kanagawa Business Audition is a business competition that solicits and evaluates outstanding business plans from within and outside Kanagawa Prefecture to support business growth and facilitate connections with new business partners. Focusing primarily on newly established and startup companies, the competition selects innovative businesses that contribute to solving social issues and creating new industries, with finalists delivering presentations at the final judging session.

In receiving this award, FerroptoCure was highly commended not only for its innovative drug discovery technology but also for the social significance of its approach as a new treatment option for intractable cancers, as well as for the business’s growth potential and future prospects.

FerroptoCure will continue to advance drug discovery research targeting ferroptosis and, through collaboration with partners both in Japan and abroad, strive to deliver innovative cancer treatments to patients as soon as possible.
