Winner of the Tokyo Governor’s Award in the “Hiyocorn” Category at the “Tokyo Venture Company Championship 2025”

FerroptoCure Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Yuji Otsuki) received the Tokyo Governor’s Award—the highest honor in the “Hiyocorn” category—at the “Tokyo Venture Company Championship 2025,” held on March 4, 2026.

The Tokyo Venture Company Championship is a pitch contest for venture companies sponsored by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, held under the concept of “Creating Unicorn Companies from Tokyo.” From over 100 applicant companies, entries were evaluated based on criteria such as innovation, growth potential, and social impact, and the winning companies were determined following public pitches by the finalists during the final round. The competition aims to discover and support the growth of startups expected to become future unicorn companies.

In this award, FerroptoCure was recognized not only for the novelty of its proprietary drug discovery technology but also for the potential of its approach as a new treatment option for intractable cancers, the growth potential of its business, and expectations for future global expansion. As a result, the company received the Tokyo Governor’s Award, the highest honor in the “Hiyocorn” category.
