Selected for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Startup Support Program

FerroptoCure Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Yuji Otsuki) has been selected as a participating company in the startup support program announced by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government on July 9, 2026.

This program is implemented as part of the startup support initiatives promoted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government under the “SusHi Tech Global” framework. It aims to foster the creation and growth of startups active both domestically and internationally by collaborating with a diverse range of support organizations. Companies possessing innovative technologies or business models are comprehensively evaluated and selected based on criteria such as their potential for overseas expansion, business feasibility, and future growth prospects.

In this selection process, FerroptoCure was highly evaluated not only for the novelty of its drug discovery technology targeting ferroptosis but also for its business strategy focused on the global market, the feasibility of its overseas expansion, and its ambition to develop the world’s first drug of its kind. Additionally, the company received recognition for its initiatives aimed at overseas R&D and business expansion, as well as its strategies for building international partnerships.

FerroptoCure will further advance the research and development of innovative cancer treatments based on ferroptoCure, while strengthening collaborations with domestic and international companies and research institutions, with the goal of becoming a drug discovery company capable of global expansion. We will continue to pursue drug discovery and development so that we can provide new treatment options to patients around the world.
